Child Sexual Abuse Predator Warning Signs - Survey

School project, a paper on how parents and kids can recognize and be aware that there are signs a child molester/predator/pedophile uses on kids and teens to gain their trust, and their parents trust. Please take my poll and answer all that may apply to you, remember just one or two does not mean a person is a pedophile, but a combination may be signs to be more aware if you are around this person. Children – innocent, naive and trusting – are the most susceptible to the deliberate tricks and ploys a pedophile uses to gain their trust, as well as the family’s trust.

Signs of a child pedophile? They’re notoriously friendly, engaging, nice and likable.

On the outside, they have a great looking life and are well-liked by others. They strategically target their victims, often installing themselves into a child’s life through family, school, church, sports, and activities.

Good topic to bring up and make people aware of. It happened to me, not the full blown sexual abuse, but an older trusted family friend who was into soccer, and about 42, befriended me, took me places, and since he was a friend of my parents, none of us thought anything different.
I thought a lot of the paying me compliments, sometimes rubbing my shoulders, taking me out to eat, having me pose in my soccer uniform so he could take pictures, was pretty normal. But then he started getting physical, rubbing my legs, talking about sex bring up things that made me feel a little uncomfortable. Guess the whole thing finally hit me when one night I spent the night at his house along with several other guys that played soccer after a meet, I was 17 at the time. I woke up in the middle of the night and saw him with his hands on me masturbating me with my shorts off and naked from the waist down. I was mad, yelled at him, called a friend and had her take me home.
Never told my parents or anyone, but did make sure my friends knew about him so he could not do that to anyone else.

Moral of the story as you Americans call it, don't be fooled or blindsided, look at all the signs and put 2 and 2 together.

I am sorry to hear that happened to you Sven, I hope the word got out so he does not have access to any boys, that creep needs to be exposed for the scum that he is.

Wish he lived close to me, I would offer to come and beat his sorry ass for u Sven. After you yelled at him, you should have laid a couple hits to the jaw, it certainly would have been justified.

Hope that guy got what he had coming to him Sven, to take advantage of someone when they are asleep is pretty dammed low in my book
