Putin made a very dumb mistake, he threatened the United States and NATO. Putin needs to learn a hard lesson NOW before this goes any further, and the people living in Russia suffer the consequences of what NATO and the US can do to them. Firing on US or NATO planes is an act of war, and Russia has no chance of winning it against all the NATO countries, should that happen Russia will cease to exist.

Threatening the United States of America is not the smartest thing to do, plus the fact that he also threatened all of NATO. Does he understand what will happen if he fires on a NATO nation plane?

All Putin managed to do with that threat was to piss off the majority of Nations on this planet. Their response will not be as diplomatic as the one the US gives.

Let's just hope nobody overreacts and Putin does not shoot down any planes or jets.

Russia shut down Instagram. so any friends you have from there will not be able to use it. Also, lots of unrest over there, the people of Russia are starting to feel the effects of the sanctions that the US has put on them, a lot are revolting and protesting.

Everyone, meaning the leaders of every country in the world right now needs to show restraint. We do not need World War 3. Dialogue, even with Putin must continue.

I agree with everyone showing restraint right now and do not do anything stupid. Keep in mind we do not know how North Korea and Chian will fall into this should we have a real issue with Russia. Putting sanctions on another country, is not an act of war. Blowing jets out of the sky is. Putin has to be feeling the pressure right now due to his lack of success in the Ukraine, and the unrest in Russia.
