I had a 14 year old Freshman soccer player TL member send me a private message, and hopefully I gave him the right advice, but you all can chime in if you would like.
He told me that an assistant coach of his soccer team is always touching him, not in a sexual way, but on the shoulders, legs and arms like giving him encouragement. He said the coach does not do this to any other boys on the team. He also said that during showers he has caught the coach in the office staring at him while he was taking a shower and getting dressed. I said "well maybe the coach is just making sure there is nothing going on in the locker roo such as fights or anything" but he said no, it is very obvious that the coach is staring at him.
My advice was for him to tell his parents, then not shower at school, wait until he gets home to shower. This could be just a coach that wants to see boys naked, or he could be trying to groom this particular player.

I think that the advice you have him was spot on Kayden. A coach should never touch a player on his legs, and anything but a pay on the back is not acceptable. or make it so obvious that he is staring at naked boys in the showers, or while they are getting dressed.
Nice job Kayden, and thank you!

I am glad he decided to tell someone Kayden instead of letting it go, it could have gotten a lot worse if the coach had gotten him alone someplace.

I am very happy he is also going to his parents over this, it is something they really need to know before it goes any further, or happens to another boy.

Good advice Kayden, thank you for helping him out. I also want to thank you for doing this post, mostly for awareness that this stuff really does happen and when it does, it needs to be reported to someone.
