Subject: 13 Reasons Why - Sunday afternoon Sun Mar 19, 2023 1:45 pm
This afternoon, with a Gatorade and 2 candy bars, I read the book 13 Reasons Why I have wanted to read it for a long time, I thought it was a sad book, and hope everyone reads it. We all need to understand that what we say and what we do in our actions and words can have a great big huge effect on other people. In the case of Hannah, it made her commit suicide, and she put on tape the 13 reasons why she did it, and those people in her life that she left were responsible.
The book is fiction, but suicides happen every day with kids my age, younger, and older. So I think everyone should read it that is in school because those things that happen like the teasing and peer pressure are real and do happen.

I read that book a while back, and watched some Netflix episodes on it. I personally think it would have been better just to do the book and not the series. But if by reading the book, or watching the series it save one person's life by making the people around him or her aware of their feelings, than it is well worth it.
