| Many kids and teens use instant messaging to keep in touch with their friends. Some use them for other reasons too, so I created a survey that asks what do you use instant messaging apps for, examples are Snapchat, WhatsApp, KIK, Telegram, Facetime.
What do you use instant messaging apps for?
I do not use Snapchat, Facetime, or any other instant messaging app.
Keep in touch with friends who do not live nearby, or who you do not see on a daily basis.
To make plans with friends.
Ask someone to go out with you.
Break up with someone.
Play a trick on someone by pretending to be someone else.
Write something you would not say to someones face.
Talk about homework, sports, tests, or school work
To send photo's that you would not want your parents to see to a boyfriend or girlfriend
