As of Saturday, the national 988 hotline is now live. 988 was modeled after 911, and it is easy to remember for anyone that feels suicidal or are in any mental health crises where they need to talk to a trained professional like right5r away. 988 won't be a busy signal, and 988 won't put you on hold. You will get help and be able to talk to someone.
