Subject: My children made me proud today Sun Jun 26, 2022 4:11 pm
Usually I do not like to brag about my 3 children, but today they made their father and I so proud of them, plus we had a little added humor. Today we went to visit my parents, which would be my kids grandparents. Unknown to my husband and I, my boys put a hedge trimmer, weed whip, and yard clipper in the back of our car. When we arrived at my parents house, my oldest son said “we have sonething we need to do”. And after saying that, my sons who are 14 and 11, and my daughter who is 18, proceeded to spend the next 2 hours trimming hedges, and cleaning weeds off the chain link fence .
I found out later that my dad, who has heart problems had mentioned to my daughter that he needed to hire someone to do little odds and ends with his yard, that he could no longer do. So my 3 children took it upon themselves to take charge and do it for their grandparents, and would not take any money when they were done.
It went off pretty well with kids other than when the 11 year old accidentally misjudged his sisters leg for part of the bush and whacked her with the weed eater. Yes, she is fine. Then the boys took a break when a group of girls walked down the sidewalk and visited, until my daughter reminded them to get back to the task at hand.
What my children did for their grandparents today was heart warming. And even though they refused any money, my husband and I will take them to a water park in a couple weeks.
So since they are members here, to Jasmine, Joshua, and Beckham, you made mom and dad so proud of you today, and we love you so much.

that was really nice of them you and your husband have done so well with your children you should be proud of yourself it's a honor and privilege to know them they really are sweet and nice kids
